ABOUT US
As many other companies that are part of the portuguese industry, we had our origin in a family business. In 1996, in the village of Martim (municipality of Barcelos), Aires Costa Fernandes founded a company dedicated to the carpentry business.
With the development of the business activity and to accompany all the market demands, the second generation, António Fernandes and Filipe Fernandes, took part in the company’s management, working as associate-managers. In September 2001, appeared the CARPINTARIA AIRES, LDA.
Supported by a consolidated structure, in 2006 we transferred to the current facilities (in Areias de Vilar) and reinforced the company with new equipment in order to better answer to our customers' needs.
By following market trends, the areas of action have undergone through some changes. In addition, the carpentry services started creating custom-made furniture, incorporating in our team architects and designers.
In 2010, we decided to risk it again and launched our brand in the international market, having executed many projects of great relevance for our own maturity, such as the Hotel Don Cesar in Corsica - France.
The production has been undergoing changes and we have begun to develop international partnerships. We are currently present in more than four countries and offer our customers a complete carpentry process, performing all types of furniture designs in many different materials.
